That's A Wrap!!

 Hello and welcome to or welcome back to my blog! In todays blog I will be telling you about the last day of filming. 

For the last filming day we did the last scene. I wanted to film the scenes in chronological order so that it would all make sense. This scene especially needed to be filmed at night because this is when the girl gets kidnapped at the party. It creates a more suspenseful feeling if it is done at night.

Like all filming days I waited for everyone to arrive. Since the scene is a party it needs to look full. The wait time was longer because I had to wait on more people to come but when everyone arrived we got started. Since this was most peoples first day on "set" I gave everyone a run down of what is going to be filmed and how. I just told everyone to act natural and have fun. 

As I said in my last blog, we want to have music but it has to be non-copyrighted. My goal is to have the same song that played in the car to fade into the party but that would have to be accomplished through editing. I just played the same song from the car and hoped it would all turn out okay. So there would be more variety my group members looked for songs too.

The scene that was filmed was the one where the main character is at the party and she is on the phone texting. Her online boyfriend that she has never seen before decides to come but instead of coming inside he told her to come outside. When she goes outside that is when the bag gets put over her head. For the most part filming this scene wasn't too complicated. The bag going over her head had to be safe so my mom was on the side making sure everything went smoothly. 

For the first take of her going outside and the bag getting put over her head almost everyone laughed including me because of how awkward the situation was, but then everyone realized the seriousness of the scene and we got it right.

 Hello and welcome to or welcome back to my blog! In todays blog I will be telling you about the process of re-editing for my final task. Two blogs ago I mentioned that my little sister peer reviewed my final task and she gave critiques. Last blog I talked about how we re-filmed the dance scene based off of those critiques. Todays is about the editing ones. My group member Annabel and I re-edited it in class together so that we could both easily incorporate ideas. The first thing I did was fix the choppiness in the beginning. I did that by trying to overlap the sound from each clip. It is a little hard to explain but I cut the audio from one part. Then I deleted the clip from where it came from. Extended the other clip, and added the audio over that part. I think it fixed the choppiness a little and now the scene looks like it runs smoother. Production Blog: Videos

 Hello and welcome to or welcome back to my blog!! In the previous blog I told you about how I added my pictures and what I did to cut down the time. In todays blog I am going to be telling you what I have completed since then. When school ended I went home and started to  work on the commercial. I saved the videos into my favorites folder so that they would be easier to find when I got to this point.  I first started with cheer. I selected the video of me cheering and cut it down to the part where I did my solo. After that I added a couple pictures of me cheering on top so it wouldn’t be as boring. After that I added a blank black screen. That is to help me with transitioning into the next topic. I plan to do a voice over on some of the parts so the screen would help with that too.
