That's A Wrap

Hello and welcome to or welcome back to my blog! In todays blog I will be telling you about the process of filming the last scene in my final task.

Today I filmed the last scene of my short film. This one was short because it doesn't have any lines. This is also where I got my cameo. Last year when I did my music video and my final task, my partner and I were in the back of at least one scene. I didn't know if I was going to be in one of the scenes this year but yesterday I decided I was going to close off the film with me being the one at the desk. My mom is a perfectionist so she told me to clean off her desk before I filmed anything there. It took a lot of work because she has so many papers and items but I was finally able to get it clean enough for her liking. Before I could film I had to email the video of the kids looking around to my moms computer. Once that was on the computer I changed into all black and then I asked my sister if she could help me film. She said no, which I expected. She's been on a little bit of a mean streak lately but she'll get over it. My mom offered to film it for me. It took a few tries because she isn't used to recording but eventually I got it. I then added it to my editing app to be edited later.

And that's a wrap. This whole process of filming was a lot. I didn't expect it to take such a long time but it worked out in the end. I am super excited to get into the editing process and then see what the final product will be. Soon I want to film cast interviews that I can put on the Instagram that I am going to make for my film. I also need to get started on my website and post card.
