My Pitch

 Hello and welcome to or welcome back to my blog! In today’s blog I am going to be telling you two of the short film ideas I came up with and which one I am choosing.

Pitch 1: A group of actors think the cameras are off when they leave set but in reality, they are living in a never ending TV show.

Pitch 2: A group of kids are stuck in an escape room but getting out also means saving the world.

I would be interested in making pitch one because it has the opportunity to take elements from different genres and still work. There is an eerie under tone because the characters are being watched without them knowing and there could also be comedic moments from the characters daily lives and even the show they are on. With this idea there can be multiple locations that the characters go through and there is a bunch of room for possibility. The only set back would be not having access to a location that looks like a movie set, however with the right words that isn't needed.

I would be interested in pitch two because it seems like a really fun idea to work on but also watch. This would most likely be a comedy with a lot of fast moving parts. Even though the film would take place in one location, there is opportunity from the characters to make the film. The only set back with this would be finding an escape room but that is an easy fix because any room can be an escape room as long as you put the clues in the right places.
