My Group For The Music Video

Hello and welcome to or back to my blog!!

Last blog I introduced myself. Told you guys a couple facts about me. Today I will be telling you about the group I am in for my music video!

In this project I will be working with Annabel and Kester. I knew Annabel because she is a friend of one my close friends. We ended up in the same class period and because we only really knew each other we decided to work together. It was funny because after we finished learning about the project when our teacher sat down we looked right at each other. We knew we would be working together. 

She also has a friend named Kester that she sits by in class. When Annabel and I were brainstorming ideas and talking about the music video Kester would input ideas. Some were funny and some were stuff that we decided we could incorporate. From there he was added into our group.

The song we chose to do for this project is Gonna Love Me by Teyana Taylor. We listen to a bunch of songs before we decided on this one. I thought this song would be cool because I see on TikTok when people remake scenes from music videos. I thought it would be cool to make something similar for the music video because it would be fun. In the TikToks it’s make in a more parody aspect but this would be a bit more serious.

Re-Editing

 Hello and welcome to or welcome back to my blog! In todays blog I will be telling you about the process of re-editing for my final task. Two blogs ago I mentioned that my little sister peer reviewed my final task and she gave critiques. Last blog I talked about how we re-filmed the dance scene based off of those critiques. Todays is about the editing ones. My group member Annabel and I re-edited it in class together so that we could both easily incorporate ideas. The first thing I did was fix the choppiness in the beginning. I did that by trying to overlap the sound from each clip. It is a little hard to explain but I cut the audio from one part. Then I deleted the clip from where it came from. Extended the other clip, and added the audio over that part. I think it fixed the choppiness a little and now the scene looks like it runs smoother. Production Blog: Videos

 Hello and welcome to or welcome back to my blog!! In the previous blog I told you about how I added my pictures and what I did to cut down the time. In todays blog I am going to be telling you what I have completed since then. When school ended I went home and started to  work on the commercial. I saved the videos into my favorites folder so that they would be easier to find when I got to this point.  I first started with cheer. I selected the video of me cheering and cut it down to the part where I did my solo. After that I added a couple pictures of me cheering on top so it wouldn’t be as boring. After that I added a blank black screen. That is to help me with transitioning into the next topic. I plan to do a voice over on some of the parts so the screen would help with that too.
